Over the last two years, the Internet environment has changed dramatically: previously, few of us suspected that we were being watched day and night but now, after Mr. Snowden's shattering disclosures, even the most enthusiastic optimists are suffering from paranoia. If a user attracts attention, it’s probably only a matter of time before people will start accessing the information he conceals.

The overwhelming majority of device owners use the Internet for financial transactions. They shop online, bank online and pay online… This is convenient, but can be extremely risky. Fraudsters want your money too, and they know how to steal it online. Although it might seem more logical to steal from banks – after all, that’s where the money is – cybercriminals usually find it easier to target individual users.
